Conjugal violence

The CSSS Cavendish offers psychosocial services to people who are victims of conjugal violence and to the children exposed to it. These services include crisis intervention, evaluation, psychosocial follow-up and referral to appropriate resources. The CSSS works in close collaboration with its partners who also work in the area of conjugal violence such as women’s shelters, police stations, organizations that help men that are prone to violence, and community organizations. The CSSS Cavendish has set up a conjugal violence committee in order to further develop partnerships with organizations that address this problem.

Spousal Abuse and Family Violence

In partnership with other community resources, the CSSS Cavendish offers various services to victims of spousal abuse, and to children who witness domestic violence.
