Quebec Breast Cancer Screening Program
If you are between the ages of 50 and 69, you will automatically receive a letter from the Director of Public Health inviting you to have a mammogram at a designated screening centre. The letter serves as amedical prescription. On the day of your appointment you will be asked to fill out a consent form. You will then be registered in the Quebec breast cancer screening program and you will be invited to have a mammogram every two years.
