Mission, vision and values
Mission
The mission of the Centre de santé et de services sociaux Cavendish (CSSS) is to improve the health and well-being of the population of its territory. Enriched by the diversity and strengths of its community and staff, the CSSS is committed to the principle that each individual should have access to health and social services that respond to his or her needs at every stage of life.
The CSSS offers health and social services to the community including rehabilitation services and long-term care. As a Centre affilié universitaire de gérontologie sociale it also has a teaching and research mandate.
Vision
The CSSS Cavendish aims to improve the quality of life of the residents of its territory, promote accessibility, continuity, quality and safety of health care and services and demonstrate leadership among its partners in the public and community networks.
The CSSS is committed to ensuring excellence in its services by promoting continuous quality improvement and encouraging the professional development of staff and volunteers. In addition, the CSSS aims to become a leader in social gerontology and geriatric rehabilitation.
